Privacy policy — Tap Tap Jelly Tap
This Privacy Policy explains what information the Tap Tap Jelly Tap mobile application (“the App”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, how it is used, and the choices you have. The App is published by Mukashi Labs LLC (“the Publisher”). If you have any questions, contact us at support@mukashi.io.
Summary
- We do not require an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal contact information to play the game.
- We collect a small amount of anonymous gameplay and device information to understand how the game is played and to improve it.
- Your save data — which levels you've cleared, stars earned, settings, and purchase entitlements — is stored only on your device. We also send anonymous gameplay events describing your progress (e.g. when you complete a level and your highest level reached) to our analytics provider, as described below.
- Payments are handled entirely by Apple. We never see or store your payment information.
Information we collect
Analytics data (Amplitude)
The App uses Amplitude, a third-party product analytics service, to record anonymous events about how the game is played. Amplitude is provided with the following:
- Device identifier. A vendor-scoped device identifier provided by iOS (
identifierForVendor). This is not your Apple ID, your phone number, or the IDFA used for advertising. It is reset when you delete the App. - Device information. Platform (iOS), operating system version, device model and manufacturer, and the system language setting.
- App information. App version, build number, and the short Git commit identifier of the build.
- Gameplay events. When you start, complete, fail, restart, or abandon a level; how long the run took; how many enemies you defeated; how many lives you lost; what tutorial stages you reached; your score; and your highest level reached.
- In-app purchase events. When the store screen is opened; when a purchase is started, completed, cancelled, fails, is pending Ask-to-Buy approval, or is restored; the App Store product identifier of the item; and, for failures, a non-sensitive error code. We do not receive your payment details — those are handled by Apple.
We do not collect your location, your contacts, your photos, your microphone or camera input, your browsing activity outside the App, or any advertising identifier.
Information stored only on your device
The following information is saved on your device using iOS's standard preferences storage. It is not uploaded as a save file or backup, though some of the same facts (such as which levels you've completed and your highest level reached) are also captured as anonymous events by our analytics provider — see the Analytics section above:
- Your level progress and stars earned
- Game settings (sound on/off, etc.)
- Tutorial completion state
- In-app purchase entitlements (which level packs you own)
This data lives in your device's standard app sandbox. It is removed when you delete the App.
Information when you contact support
If you choose to contact us at support@mukashi.io using the “Contact Support” link in the App, your email client will pre-fill a message that includes the App version, your device platform, model, OS version, language, and screen resolution. This information is only sent to us if you choose to send the email. We use it to diagnose support issues and to reply to you, and we retain support emails for as long as needed to provide assistance.
Payments
In-app purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive from Apple only the confirmation that a purchase was completed and the product identifier of the item purchased. We never see or store your credit card number, Apple ID, billing address, or other payment information. Apple's privacy practices are governed by Apple's own privacy policy at apple.com/legal/privacy.
How we use the information
- To understand which levels are too hard, too easy, or where players are dropping off, so we can improve the game.
- To measure the impact of updates and changes.
- To diagnose crashes and bugs.
- To respond to support requests you send us.
We do not use any of the information for advertising. We do not sell or rent it to third parties.
Data sharing
We share the analytics data described above with:
- Amplitude (Amplitude, Inc., a U.S. company), our analytics processor. See amplitude.com/privacy.
- Apple, to the extent Apple processes App Store and in-app purchase data on our behalf. See apple.com/legal/privacy.
We do not share data with any other third parties except where required by law or to protect our rights.
Children
The App is rated for general audiences and is not specifically directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA / UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. The analytics data we collect does not include name, email, or any other contact information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us information, contact us at support@mukashi.io and we will delete the associated device's data from Amplitude.
Your choices and rights
- Reset progress. The App's Settings screen includes a “Reset All” option that clears all locally stored progress and settings.
- Delete the App. Deleting the App removes all locally stored data. The Amplitude vendor-scoped device identifier is also reset.
- Access, correction, deletion. Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, UK, California), you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, or to object to or restrict certain processing. Because we do not collect identifying information beyond an anonymous device identifier, we may need you to provide that identifier to act on your request. Contact us at support@mukashi.io.
- Do Not Track. The App does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.
Data retention
Anonymous analytics data is retained by Amplitude for as long as it is useful for understanding product trends. Locally stored data is retained on your device until you reset progress or delete the App. Support emails are retained for as long as needed to handle your request and any follow-up.
Security
We use standard industry safeguards to protect the data we collect, including HTTPS in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
International transfers
Amplitude and Apple may process data in the United States and other countries. By using the App you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be announced in the App or on our website.
